I have been using the Photoshop Elements editing software from Adobe for many years. The 1st package I bought was PSE4. I upgraded every time Adobe released a new version and for example with PSE5 and PSE 6, I also included the Photoshop Premier Elements software in my order. Premier is a video editing software solution, its powerful but scaled down in a similar fashion as Photoshop Elements. Its a great software package and I can easily imagine that almost every person with a digital camera could have benefit having Premier Elements. Are there any better editing software available in this market segment? Absolutely yes, the difference is that PSE is so widely supported that its nearly impossible to think potential users will not notice that. For example on this site you will find an excellent example of that support in the form of the training videos I added to the site. These training videos are produced by the folks at the photoanswers.co.uk magazine publishing group. They produce great photography magazines like Digital Photo and Practical Photography.
Personally I also wrote a few short articles to help readers better understand elements. Amongst these articles you will find:

Take the time to study this article and I am sure you will significant improvements in your ability to work with RAW files.
